MODEL IRON 06.3 N
IRON 06.3 N is the entry-level machine of Rosa’s production. Fully enclosed, compact, easy-to-use control, automatic cycle (roughness-finishing), automatic dressin cycle, Teach-In.




MODEL IRON N/CN/CNC
Due to its versatility and simplicity of use it represents the state of art in surface grinding technology. The machine can be programmed to work in manless operation manner. It is equipped with the ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) unit, but it is also available in the NC version SYSTEM VI (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di). Four models are available whose grinding sizes go from mm 850x630x480(h) to mm 2000x650x600(h).  The wheel spindle is of the interchangeable cartridge type and runs on opposed preloaded angular precision bearings. The standard power-rate of the wheel motor is 11 kW (15 kW for CNC versions).
















MODEL STEEL
Due to its versatility and simplicity of use it represents the state of art in surface grinding technology. The machine can be programmed to work in manless operation manner. It is equipped with the ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) unit, but it is also available in the NC version SYSTEM VI (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di). Four models are available whose grinding sizes go from mm 1200x750x600(h) to mm 2000x750x600(h). 
The wheel spindle is of the interchangeable cartridge type and runs on opposed preloaded angular precision bearings. The standard power-rate of the wheel motor is 15 kW (available as an option up to 22 kW). 




MODEL STEEL LINEAR
With the new grinding machine model STEEL LINEAR both reciprocating and slow creep-feed grinding operations can be carried out so as to obtain concave or convex profiles both crosswise and longitudinally. This machine can be equipped with supplementary devices such as side wheelheads and dividing heads for grinding any parts of complex configuration, which normally would require several set-ups. This eliminates problems concerning work-in-process and therefore increases the productivity of the machine. ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) unit. The table runs on preloaded crossed-roller monorails which prevent the negative stick-slip effect and offer a damping effect as to vibrations. The vertical axis and the cross axis are driven by ballscrews with double preloaded screw-nut, powered by AC brushless motors, whose motion is controlled by an encoder or, on request, by optical scales with millesimal resolution. 
The standard power-rate of the wheel motor is 11 kW (available as an option up to 22 kW).
Digital Linear motor for table axis (X): Fmax=6.500 Nm. Maximum cube which can be ground: 1500x750x600 (h)mm.

MODEL SILVER N/CN/CNC
The design of the LINEA SILVER is inspired by the same construction and modularity criteria which feature the LINEA STEEL machines. LINEA SILVER can be utilized both for small batches (even single pieces) and for big series. Furthermore, it offers the possibility of grinding in unmanned cycles. This range consists of five models for grinding sizes from 450x850x700(h) to 4250x850x700(h)
1450x950x700(h) to 6250x950x700(h)
mm. Alternatively, there are two control systems, i.e. either CNC or NC, the software of which has been purposely developed directly by Rosa Ermando SpA. The standard power-rate of the wheel motor is 15 kW.










MODEL GOLD
Machine dedicated to grinding big die- and mould-blocks, straight blades in series production or other heavy jobs. 

The LINEA GOLD consists of eight models for grinding sizes from 1650x1100x800(h) mm to 7600x1100x800(h) mm. These machines are equipped with a ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) or a NC SYSTEM VI (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) control-unit.




MODEL PLATINUM
These machines are equipped either with ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) control-unit or a NC SYSTEM VI (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) control-unit. The wheel-head has an interchangeable cartridge. It is built of ground and hardened case-steel and runs on a quadruple gang and a pair of opposed angular precision bearings. Inside of the spindle, there is an automatic system for changing the grinding wheel having a clamping device and a balancing device for the wheel.




MODEL PLATINUM-U
These machines are equipped with a ROSA SYSTEM VII CNC (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di) control unit. The lower part of the vertical slide houses the rotary table unit (double toothed HIRTH crown) driven by an AC brushless motor. The electro-spindle, which is mounted on the rotary table, can be swivelled by +/-110° with a repetition accuracy of 2 angular seconds. The rotation is obtained by means of a special bevel/worm-gear pair with adjustment of the play to minimum values. An encoder, which is positioned on the same axis as the drive-screw, enables the position control.







MODEL Rotor
Due to its versatility and simplicity of use it represents the state of art in surface grinding technology. The machine can be programmed to work in manless operation manner. It is equipped with the ROSA SYSTEM N unit, but it is also available in the NC version SYSTEM VI (Siemens Sinumerik 840 Di). Six models are available whose rotary table diameter of D=400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 mm. 
The wheel spindle is of the interchangeable cartridge type and runs on opposed preloaded angular precision bearings. The standard power-rate of the wheel motor is 11 kW (15 kW for ROTOR 1200 and 1500).

Ghiringhelli centerless grinding machines can be either hydraulically or CNC controlled (multi axes) and are capable of being utilized as stand alone units or linked into automatic lines.
